Langra mango is known as the king of mangoes. Langra is called the king of mangoes because of its unique taste. This mango is as sour when raw, as sweet when ripe. The origin of this mango is Benares, India. It grows more in Chapainawabganj, Rajshahi, Natore, Naogaon regions of Bangladesh.

It looks like an oval shape. The raw colour is light green, when ripe it turns light yellow. The drop is thin. Mango skin is very thin, the shell is yellowish. Anti is small and very thin. The average sweetness of this very juicy mango is 19.7%. Edible portion averaged 73.1%, average weight 314.1 g.

Begins to ripen in mid-June. June and July are the best times to get langra mango. It can be kept for 8-10 days if collected at maturity.
